The Country Trader opened for business 9 years ago in Mitchell, SD.  The store offers a complete line of new and pre-owned furniture.  

"We purchase our pre-owned furniture directly from individuals, estates or auctions.  We also accept trade-ins of clean, good quality furniture."

The Country Trader's inventory features sofas, chairs, dining room furniture, bedroom furniture, curio cabinets, occassional tables, art prints, lamps and home accessories in a 5,000 square foot building.

Some of the most popular items are Englander mattresses and box springs.  Englander is a national sleep products brand and the second oldest manufacturer in the U. S. bedding industry.
