Formerly known as Leader Hardware,  Leader Sporting Goods moved in 2001 to a new location at 424 East Havens, with a new name.  We maintain the personal service and atmosphere that the customer can only find in a smaller store where you can talk directly to the owners.  

Leader Sporting Goods is a locally owned and operated retail store specializing in Red Wing boots, hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, reloading and related items.  

We buy, sell, trade, pawn and repair guns.  Gun appraisals available, and we buy gun collections and collectible guns.  We have over 600 new and used guns in stock, and if we don't have what you are looking for in the store we will gladly special order it for you.

We are an authorized dealer for Benelli, Beretta, Browning, Glock, Franchi, Sako, Savage, Smith&Wesson, Springfield, Stoeger, and Tika.  We also stock Bushmaster,  H&R, Henry, Herritage, Hi-Point, Marlin, Mossberg, NEF, Remington, Ruger, Taurus, Winchester and others.

Leader carries a full line of firearm accessories and ammunition, including some of the hard to find callibers.

We carry a large variety of optics including scopes and sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, and range finders.  

You can find a full line of hunting, fishing, and pocket knives in all the major brands.

Leader has a variety of fishing and camping supplies, including live bait for the fishermen. With any fishing reel purchase we will spool the reel free.

We currently stock over 500 pairs of Red Wing boots sizes 5-16 and a variety of widths. If we dont have what your looking for we will gladly special order any size and width available and ship it if necessary free of charge.
