Each member of our staff is trained for the duties he or she performs.  All staff members involved with patient care are Certified Ophthalmic Technicians, Certified Ophthalmic Assistants, or Certified Opticians.

The entire staff regularly attend continuing education meetings to increase their ability to serve you in our ever-changing and highly technical profession.

Our professional services include complete vision care for all ages.  Our doctors are highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease and provide management for the latest advancements in laser refractive surgery.  Doctor Birkenkamp provides surgical care for cataracts, secondary cataracts, glaucoma and other ophthalmic procedures.

Contact lens care, from routine to the most difficult cases, is an important part of our practice.  We specialize in toric (astigmatic), bifocal, and colored contact lenses.

As a part of our complete services to our patients, a large selection of fashionable eyewear is available in our office.  We frequently update our frame inventory to offer the newest styles. Your prescription lenses are fabricated at a professional laboratory and meet our quality control standards.  Safety eyeglasses, sunglasses, no-line glasses, and children's glasses are also available.
