The Siouxland Community Blood Bank's Mitchell staff want to help you provide your community blood supply for hospital patients in Armour, Gregory, Mitchell, Platte, Parkston, Scotland, Tyndall, Wagner, Wessington Springs, and Yankton.

Volunteer to donate at our new collection site at 501 S. Ohlman Street in Mitchell! We are open on Wednesday evenings from 5-7pm.

Resurrection Lutheran Church on Tuesday, May 1st from 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Avera Queen of Peace Hospital on Monday, May 7th from 12:00pm to 6:30pm
Davison County Public Safety Building on Wednesday, May 16th from 11:00am to 2:00pm
Wal-Mart Supercenter on Tuesday, May 29th from 10:00am to 2:30pm
Highland Mall on Thursday, May 31st from 2:00pm to 6:00pm

Appointments can be made by calling 1-877-224-6208. To be eligible to donate:  Must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 lbs. and must bring a list of medications that you currently take as well as a photo ID. For questions please call 800-798-4208.

What if I have donated blood with another organization?
All donations that you have donated are credited to your donor record with the Siouxland Community Blood Bank.  If you are a 5 gallon donor with another organization, you will be a 5 gallon donor with Siouxland.  Donors are asked to provide previous donation levels to our staff at the time of registration.  Your donor record will then be updated with your previous donations.
